On February 9, 2022, the time had finally come: Samsung presented three new Galaxy smartphone models with 5G mobile technology at its unpacked event. But until the devices go on sale, high-tech fans will have to wait at least until the end of February, as Samsung will initially offer the more expensive Galaxy S22 Ultra for sale, while the cheaper S22 and S22 Plus will not follow until March. Samsung Galaxy S22

The Galaxy S22+ is mid-range in terms of size and weight, measuring 157 x 76 x 7.6 mm and weighing 195 grams. In contrast to the normal S22, the Plus version has a larger 6.6″ display, but the resolution is identical at 2340×1080 pixels.

Speaking of the display, the Plus model offers not only a larger screen diagonal but also higher brightness of up to 1750 nits, which makes it even easier to read outdoors. The built-in cameras are identical to the normal S22 and there are no differences in the built-in processor or RAM.

Things are different with the battery, however, Samsung has integrated a rechargeable 4500 mAh lithium battery into the device, which can be charged much faster than the standard version and offers a charging power of up to 45 watts via the USB-C cable, with the wireless one Charging, on the other hand, is also over at 15 watts.

Samsung will first release the Galaxy S22 Ultra on February 25th, 2022, while the S22 and the S22+ will not follow until March 11th, 2022.
